Career Goals
Following my graduation in December 2025 with my Master of Arts in Counseling, my immediate goal is to take and pass the National Counselor Examination (NCE) to earn the National Certified Counselor (NCC) credential. I also plan to continue accumulating the required 2,000 supervised hours necessary for licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania. Over the next year, I aim to deepen my clinical experience, refine my therapeutic skills—particularly in CBT and DBT—and build strong, collaborative relationships with clients and colleagues in my current outpatient setting. Within the next three years, my goal is to become a fully licensed LPC and begin exploring opportunities for specialization in trauma-informed care or child and adolescent therapy. I also plan to pursue ongoing professional development through continuing education, certifications, and clinical supervision, with the long-term goal of opening a private practice or assuming a leadership role in a community mental health setting.
